You cannot make it to Heaven on a healing The world is quick to go to the preachers whom God is using to pour out His Spirit in manifestations of healing.. but just because a person gets a healing from God doesn't qualify them for Heaven. Even belief in Jesus and confession of His Sonship unto God to receive His salvation only begins the process. Only a person who believes in Jesus, confesses His Sonship, *and* who lives out a life which is faithful in bearing the cross God gave to them will be rewarded with eternity in God's Kingdom under Christ. The world, however, is much more interested in going to churches that preach that Jesus is more than God's Son.. somehow being actually the same person *as* His Father.. God.. and which preach that the use of military and police-enforced might to imprison or execute the criminals of our world is totally warranted, even though Jesus told His disciples to "resist not evil." Mankind is far more interested in living under a "Gospel" which doesn't require total surrender to seeking one's own happiness via becoming a "living sacrifice".. someone who is "always bearing about in the flesh the dying of the Lord Jesus".. which, alone, is the way unto eternity without anymore pain. Only if a person suffers *with* Christ can they lay claim to the glory which God promises alongside Christ. Suffering with Jesus is one of the true marks of being a real Christian. Yet this world is so full of people who will claim they are Christian, but who advocate the use of force against the very people whom Jesus called us to love. Yes, Jesus calls us to love our fellow Christians in the same way He loved the apostles during His time on Earth.. and that this would be the mark which would distinguish us as belonging to Him.. but real love doesn't just hang out and let people use deadly force against the very people Jesus died for without even a peep of disagreement. Jesus laid His life down.. and we who claim to be His must do the same.. not seeking to simply enjoy our own lives, but pouring out our lives sacrificially.. daring to die so that others might live.
